Alan Barrell works part-time as Entrepreneur in Residence, University of Cambridge; Visiting Professor of Enterprise, University of Bedfordshire; Visiting Professor - Entrepreneurial Studies, University of Xiamen, China; International Fellow, Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Helsinki and Senior Enterprise Fellow, University of Essex.

He advises and teaches the executive teams of companies in the technology sector on Business Modelling and Business Planning and on Strategy Development - including "Strategies for Going International".
