Key Dutch Industrialists visit Cambridge - in Force | 13 November 2011
The Limburgse Wervevers Vereniging (LWV ) - leaders of one of Hollands Largest Employers Associations were in Cambridge 8th and 9th of November - a visit organised by Alan Barrell at their request. They met the Mayor, visited ARM Holdings and heard presentations and speeches from Alan on The Cambridge Phenomenon, Herman Hauser on the future of mobile telephony and computing and from Jeanette Walker and Paul McGhee from the Addenbrookes Biomedicial Campus on future trends in Healthcare and Medicine. Two Dutch Mayors and a Minister were in the LWV party and there will be a return visit from a Cambridge delegation next year. Alan Barrell declared the events outstandingly successful - "wonderful bridges built for future business collaboration."
